1 Hour Follow-up Coaching Session
Returning clients who have been seen for an initial assessment and wish to receive continued feeding support. Duration: 1 hour. Location: child's home environment (where mealtimes happen!)

*Please note: if it has been more than 2 months since your child's last assessment you may be asked to schedule a feeding skills reassessment.

Follow-up coaching sessions will always be family-centered. Meaning, while I may bring my professional skills to the table, the family (parents/guardians and child) will choose the food consumed, utensils/cups of preference, and feeding techniques that work best for them.

These sessions may include, but are not limited to:
`1) Feeding skills coaching for parent(s)/guardian(s) and baby using the Responsive Feeding approach.
2) Guidance of traditional vs. Baby-led Weaning Approaches
3) How to move from bottle/breast to open, sippy, or straw cup
4) Recommendations of feeding gear
5) Incorporation of simple baby sign language (to be used during meals and play), as well as a guide to honoring all forms of communication.

Please plan to schedule this session during a meal time if possible. Lunch might be the meal with the lowest stress, but you can decide which meal is most effective for your family.

Reassessment of Feeding Skills
Established clients that are returning after more than 2 months since last assessment should be reassessed. Children in the first three years of life are growing and developing so rapidly. It would be a disservice to you and your child not to reassess them for their current level of motor skills, sensory processing, and overall feeding skills.

If you are unsure whether or not you should book a follow-up session or a reassessment please reach out to me. I would be happy to look over your case and work with you on what's best for your kiddo.
